    don't quite agree the idea. i'd prefer a solution to make the AI to not spam forts. but i think i would agree to disabling PSF's if every region on the map will have 1-2 psf's, preferably accurate if possible.

    it's more annoying the fact that the map is from vanilla, especially anatolia is terrifying. very few roads.

    btw actually most of the psf are original. here is a pic, the ones in blue are new, the one in purple i'm not sure but the others are definetly there from the start of the game.

    I didn't mean the AI is illogically spamming forts : they are built in defensive lines - sort of Great Wall of Cilicia - which might be sensible but not quite proper.

    And yes, we're all anxiously waiting for the new 4.0 map - especially for Anatolia.

    oh, sorry for misunderstanding... but still i'm not sure what you mean... that the AI has problems dealing with this great wall of cilicia or it's not realistic...?

    and we're all anxiously waiting not only for the map, but for everything 4.0 will have. but if the map is revised at least in anatolia then that would be very great.

    thanks for the link, i forgot about it. yes the regions are superbly shaped, but i am wondering about the map itself. were there any hints about the map being increased in size (not expanded to a direction) or about being reshaped somehow?

    Hello, I have a minor suggestion. I don't know if anyone suggested it already but I searched this thread I didn't find anything relevant. It would be nice to display both the current turn and current year. I was playing Third Age TW, where the turn would be displayed under the end turn button and the current year above the mini map and aligned to the right (if I can do it myself via editing some files please let me know so I go for it)

    Hmm that is strange, I also play the 3.3 version, see here:

    Something weird happened with my tga converter but you can see that there's no date above the mini map


    Any idea why is that?

    Sorry for double posting but I can't edit my previous post (can I?). I fixed it my self. I opened the preferences.cfg in SV mod folder and copied the following
    [misc]
    ## display date and season on campaign hud
    show_hud_date = true
    and pasted it to the medieval2_preferences.cfg and it worked . Weird though, why is that? Did you do the same?

    Hum, interesting, i actually simply downloaded the game (3.0), then the patch (3.3) and the hotfix, as far as i know since i installed there was the date displayed. Perhaps it was the hotfix? We'd have to ask a modder, because i'm totally ignorant on this matter.

    Anyways, glad that you managed to do it.

    P.S.: Yes, you can edit a previous post, just below right in your post. But don't worry about that, people here don't really care about double posts (as long its not people screaming "BUMP!!!" ).

    Thanks for replying, I hope a modder sees this because I'm afraid that I messed up the installation (I installed the mods/patches/hotfix to the path D:\..\Medieval 2\ because if I tried to install the patches to the folded ..\Medieval 2\mods\Sicilian Vepsers, the installer would create a mods folder inside the SV folder and put all the files there )
    Anyway, I'm going to slay some orcsies and then continue my dark age byz campaign

    NO reshaping. Map was too be streamlined so that it wouldn't hinder the release of 4.0. And made too be more historically accurate.

    i kinda forgot everything about changes, just 1 thing i'd like to know about map then: has there been made any changes to the map so there are better roads especially in Anatolia??? the roads there are... inexistent...

    Not for 4.0 no. I wanted too but i made sacrifices for the goal of getting 4.0 out. bear in mind this map will look nothing even close too the actual map i have planned. which, yes when ever the final is finished, i plan too have a nice road system in Anatolia!

    lol no. This mod still belongs too SV.

    I have "assisted" and continue too. But SV appears too have taken a leave of absence and will be back we hope soon from a hectic work schedule. Stay tuned folks.
