Reinstalling RS help

A couple of days ago I had to uninstalled RTW and RS. Now I have reinstalled RTW, but I am having difficulty reinstalling RS.

The whole process works just fine. Dowloading, Installing etc. It all seems to go smoothly from start to finish.

Except that after installation. I click on the RS shortcut to play, and I Vanilla RTW loads.

I have downloaded 5 times now, all with the same result. This kept happening to me when I originally installed RS. I had to try about 15-20 times before it worked. I don't know why.

Can anyone please help? There is no way I could play any other mod.

You didn't install RS into the correct folder, it isn't necessarily the one that shows by default in the installer, you need to know where you installed RTW.

I am having some trouble on my PC with "mss.dll32" errors.

Is this affecting my install do you think?

If you google it there are a few sites that allow you to download this DLL. It's to do with the Miles Sound System that is used by RTW games.
