In Ancient times, twenty kingdoms rose up from the dust of past civilizations. Each kingdom had ambitions to dominate the land, but only one would emerge victorious.
This event is still in the planning stages, but the basics are set in stone. This is the sign up thread for Rise of Kingdoms. Up to twenty people can sign up.
You will take command of one of the factions in Rome - Total War, and you will choose one of the custom battle maps to be your home territory.
From there, you can declare an invasion of another player-controlled territory. As time goes on, you will have enough resources to build forts and towns to defend your territories with. In addition, each territory will have distinct rules, decided on by the original owner. Will your territory have no cavalry allowed? Will it allow Artillery? It's up to you!
Forge alliances, hire mercenaries, and start wars to dominate the land!
You will likely have to check on this every day to check if you are under attack. If you don't, you may lose one of your territories.
See my posts on the second page (first is outdated) of this thread to see the planning of it:

Note that you will always be the host while you are defending, and there will be a 60 minute time limit.
The event will probably start in a few days. Use this application to sign up:
