tyboman, im having the same problem. it definetly has to be unzipped, if you didnt do that. but i did do that, and still the same problem, anyone?

When you unzip it, it goes into a folder WITHIN the Save folder, so you need to just bring it out of that folder (called, I believe "New Folder") and put it with all your saves. Then you can go for it. If not, well, good luck

LOL yeah sorry I'm not good with computer stuffs. I can create a userbar, edit a desc_strat, but that's about it...

walter, i did that. it isnt actually hard to figure out that the actualy save folder is what goes in, expecially if you look at the other saves. still doesnt work.
did it work for you, tybo? and how many kb is it after unzipping, just to check that i unzipped it right.

Ohh by the way, I have had this happen to me by the Timmy's on Vanilla. All I can say is your lucky that they haven't figured out how to cross channels like they did with me...

Ok this has actually been not as hard as I thought. its turn 710 and all of spain is spanish, the papal states has all of italy + Bern the Byzantines have Constantinople and all the Balkans including Budapest and I pushed the TIms out of Norht Africa and in Europe I pushed them back to Poland. so All of Western Europe is liberated now. The problem with Caffa is that to get there, you need to go a long route by sea through enemy-controlled waters.
While you're on the way there, though, you can always try re-installing the Byzantines in Constantinople.

Yeh they have a truly staggering amount of boats. Yes they are dhows, but there is so many that you need a landing base for boats asap really. And money gets tight surprisingly quickly too so loads of boats aggravates that problem
