agreed, the young silk spectre looks shockingly simaler to the comic, they all are pretty close with the exception of veidt. Rorshack goes in a little bit of a different direction but still has an excellent face for the part.

EDIT: I just googled "silk spectre" for pictures to compare.... Im starting to like the actress more and more

Im not sure I like any of the costume changes, after all they're keeping it in the 80's. Yet all of the costumes have a very modern look to them. Specificly that hard rubber look, very batman suit:

(his mask specificly, the rest of the suit I like)

I do like the look of the minute-men costumes, and the young Silk Spectre's is ok.

The fabric just doesnt feel very 80's

Actually I'm somewhat happy that your idea for Veidt isn't there ensures there won't be annoying fan girls at the theaters.

I like all of the costumes apart from Nite Owl II's. And I quite like Veidt - he may be skinnier in the movie than the comic, but I think the same message of his good physique is conveyed.
    So if you
Stumbled on a watch I'd assume it had a watchmaker,
That a muffin presupposes a baker,
So you must agree sooner or later,
That this proves that there's a creator.
So if I put my foot in a stinker,
You'd assume the existence of a sphincter,
Thus you don't need to be a great thinker
To coclude that God's a bum

what the costumes are made of is the least of my concerns for this movie but i have a good feeling about it even if it doesnt do the comic proud it should atleast be entertaining

    laaaaaaaaame.

But now that I think it this is the "comic" crowd I'm gonna be seeing it with..

Jesus, I still remember opening day from Iron man. I have never heard so much goddamn applause and unnecessary cheering in my life. Everytime Robert Downey said something remotely clever or the iron man suit even showed up, it was a bloody standing ovation.

It needed decent action sequences. The only thing of note was that the action sequences were not nearly as bad as those in Transformers.

Hah yeah thats what Im sayin. Good thing was, I had pretty low expectations for transformers and was compensated adequately. It had like everything I dislike.

Too much cgi, a shoddy story hastily thrown together, shia labutt

As I was watching Big Trouble in Little China today, I was lamenting those same things about new movies. Well minus the Shia Lebouf part. I don't mind him and he was the best part of the Transformers movie.

I havent seen that movie in forever, I should dig it up again.

Shia just annoys me. He normally plays annoying characters and I know its just acting but something in my gut tells me he's too good at playing an annoying character, because he's an annoying person.

Plus like every girl Ive ever met is in love with him, so we have an obvious territorial confrontation going on.
