fantastic job well done, tell me how long is long time
Phoenix Ilusion, you are brilliant. This unit looks great. I can't see the bosnian flag at the body of this unit. I only hope that you put the three fleur de lille, from the upper triangle in triangle position; if you know what I mean. Because this was the only way in which those fleurs appeared at all the coins, and other remainings from the middle ages. And the simbol of the kotromanic family at the shield looks great. May be it is an idea to make one skin with yellow and green colours behind the lion, because this are the colours which are present on the original family weapon from the middle age book "fojnicki grbovnik".
Once again: great work and respect and I hope that you will give attention a little bit to the position of the lillies in the upper triangle.
All the best...![]()
kada se bjehmo svadili, tada nas Stjepan Rajkovic umiri i da nam nas grad Bobovac, a neda ga dati Ugrom.
"And when we were in a quarrel between each other; Stijepan Rajkovic calmed us down. And we entrusted our capital of Bobovac to him after which he defended it against the Hungarians (King Tvrtko I Kotromanic 1366.)"
And guys I just want to say something more. So if I understand well this is a vlastela from the Kotromanic family. And then there will be some more vlastela's? Which will you choose? I just finished reading a book of 750 pages about the Hungarian and Bosnian political connections in the middle ages and I learned a lot from this book. The most famous Bosnian vlastela's after the Kotromanic were:
1) Hrvatinic
2)Kosacic
3)Blagajic (if my memory is right)
4)Zlatnosevic(they had controll of the mines in east Bosnia, near Srebrenica and Zvornik)
etc. And the besides those vlastela unit there will also be a states unit right? Will they have the Bosnian crown on their shields which king Ostoja introduced as an official Bosnian simbol on shields?

I just finished reading a book of Dubravko Lovrenovic, 750 pages long and discussing the relations between Bosnian and Hungaria and questions concerning the Bosnian church. He says about this the following:
During big events and ceremonies, the king made "court knights" of some of his most faithful vlastela knights. Those knights were knights of the castle and they were called castle knights. In the middle ages the ideal of "Fighting for the faith, the king and the country" was a important ideal and this ideal was the most present in those "castle knighhts".
So those Kotromanic vlastela, we can say that they served the Kotromanic family and with that the kingdom. The Kosacic vlastela served the Kosacic family and they had the obligationt to servf the kingdom in times of war too. But those castle knights, they served the kingdom directly. The had no family weapon on their shield, but they had the weapon of the kingdom: The Bosnian crown or the Bosnian flag at their shield. They were the elite of the elite and this was just a very small group. Such a court knight is present at the "pecat" of king Ostoja, and we can clearly see the Bosnian flag at the shield and the way he is sitting on the hourse, the status of the horse, it all tells us that this was a court knight. They were better armed, had more expensive clothing and looked more beautifull. This I am not writing bacause of partiotic feeling, I want to help. This is what this repected profesor writes in his book. Those castle knight were together with the Bosnian church an important factor of chesion in the Bosnian kingdom and only they represented the ideal of fighting for the "faith, king and country" in total.
cheers

I explained this in my previous post. Profesor Dubravko Lovrenovic says that there, besides "vise plemstvo" there were also a state unit. This were the so called": "Castle knights" or "Dvorski vitezovi". By the concept of the middle ages, al the nobleman or vlastela from the various Bosnian families had to duty to help the king in wars, they had the duty to send armies to the battlefield when Bosnia was attacked etc. If they did not do this the king had the right to take their land away from them and to take away their vlastela status.
But those "Court knights" were not part of a family army but they were states soldiers. The simbols on their shields were not the simbols of the Kotromanic, Kosacic, Kacic but they directly served the state. This unit is visible at the "Veliki Pecat" of king Ostoja. You guys can exactly copy this unit from this picture, beacause it is clearly visible. This pecat I already posted at he Bosnian kingdom threat. As Dubravko Lovrenovic writes in his book:
"At this pecat it is clear visible that this knight was familiar with the knight culture which came to Bosnia from west europe. We can see this at the way in which this knight is sitting at his horse, very noble, the knight is holding the Bosnian flag at his shield and he has a very particular helmet".

Yes Adnan, but I would be really unfortunately if you don't use this pecat to reproduce a Bosnian Unit from the "Castle army", because of all those units which you guys make we don't know exactly if those units looked exact like yhis, but of this unit on the pecat we know it:
