Update On Me in the Army

Hey guys, I'm back.

#1: I'm well aware of the abundance of Airborne and Special Forces here at Bragg. One of our duty NCOs is a Green Beret. I'm also not one to pick much of a fight. Besides, for the first four weeks we have to stay on post and wear these stupid neon-yellow reflective belts that serve as a "Stay Away" to the permanent party members.

#2: The Ranger Flutter Kick is with your hands straight up in the air, it sucks.

#3: I don't know exactly where/when I will be deployed -- it's against OpSec for me to discuss in a public forum. Most likely it would be in the horn of Africa, Djubuti is where one of my friends said his unit will be deployed to. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be against OpSec because it was announced in the Army Times.

Haha, that was mostly a joke, I doubt you'd be the type to get into a fight.

But good luck doing that Civil Affairs training.

And about #3 its well known that we have troops in Dijubuti, just CAPOC used to be a member of SOCOM so not sure how often CA operations are ever released.

Heh congratulations on doing something with yourself and helping others along the way I am still working on the physical endurance (and the pair of nuts) to do it myself. One of my best friends ended up in combined BCT+AIT at Fort Benning to be a 68W, so he made it sound . . . exciting, to say the least. Not sure if what he said about Benning was true, but it sounded grisly

He did BCT at Fort Benning, and AIT at Fort Sam Houston. The only people who do AIT at Fort Benning are 11bs and 11cs...

EDIT: Now I remember, it was one of my other friends who went in to be an MP, he did combined training at Ft Leonard Wood. Pretty of me to mix them up like that I guess :\ Though I heard Benning is really the one to watch out for
