Those models are amazing.
I have another question will the Byzantine have a late era general's bodyguard? Most late European bodyguards have there horses in plate armor and I was wondering if the same ever happened to the Byzantines.

Here is an update for Nikephorean Era Generals.
LuBu[rep him here] created for CBUR/TGC a number of objects that will be used on our models.
One of the objects was the shoulder armor part that you can see in fiting testings on a model of ours.
The finall resulot will look like this.
This armor was re-created by Mr Katsikes based on a church fresco of 11th century of Saint Lucas.
We wil host Mr Katsikes article with our Tagmatic Army preview.
Also he created the knee armor just like the one on this pic.

Amazing work in the units guys! and the detail in the recreation of the armor is out of this world!! Mr Katsikes has done an excellent job!
We are close to the main consept:
Ignore the textures as they are only WIP to serve the model assemply.
I am going to add leather pteryges (from LuBu's original model) on the shoulder armor to complete the armor.
But i am afraid that the variety of generals will be limited compairing to Captains. That is because each body requires extensive modification of it parts to always fit.![]()
Looking great +rep

Hello everyone i'am new here, and I'm a rookie soo. Can anyone tell me how to download CBUR 1080 ad onto medieval 2? game and will it affect my Byzantine units in the game since I just gave them new armour that I downloaded from the twcenter website? Sorry if I'm a bother I just need to know how to download it. :-p
My friend adding our roster to M2TW requires a lot of work.
I would sugest you play mods that use CBUR 1080 roster like Stainless Steel and DLV
Did it cross your mind that CBUR is dead? It did ,didn't it?
So....Emperor ordered to his greatest armor maker the new armors for his generals.
The model and its textures are still WIP but you get the point.
These exelent textures are creation of Leif Erikson.
The helmet is a modificatio of an Absinthia's one.
I want to thank LuBu for his 3d belts and for the primary material for the shoulder armor.
It took me several hours to give the shoulder armor the shape i wanted to.
The consept based on a real armor reconstruction made by Mr. Katsikis.
Excellent model! So is that going to be the new model for the Roman generals in the revamped Komnenian roster?
He is a general of 10th century so he is rather a "Nikephorean"...
But the primary matterial with several changes will be used for future Komneneans.
Wow I'm stunned...
