    Default Vista_compatibility

    Sorry if there's yet a topic about this, but I would know if SS 6.1 and submods fully works with Vista...thanks to everyone will answer :hmmm:

    im using them with vista... so i guess thats a yes...

    of course, im having some problems actually modding the game itself but i dont know if thats relted to vista or not...

    but if youre just gonna play it and not actually make your own mods it should work just fine... im using several submods for SS 6.1 and dont have an problems so far..
    addicted modder... but crap at it

    Well I am using Vista Home Premium 64-bit version,which is rumored to have most compatibility problems, but despite that SS works very fine.

    Vista can cause some problems not with running the mod, but when you want to change it. This is because vista stores some "compatibility files" elsewhere outside of the mod's directory structure. But once you realise this, you can overcome the problem

    Not for me,
    Running 64bit Vista Ultimate with 4gb pc1600 ddr3.

    All my games running better than my 32bit in fact.

    and where would that be and how do we prevent that? cos ive had some problems modding the game...

    Not sure because I don't use Vista. Do a search on the forums for "compatibility files" and I'm sure you'll find something.

    DDR3? Sweet. Isn't PC-1600 DDR, though? What you're probably trying to say is DDR3-1600, which is PC3-12800.
