Caribean:Total War??

All that Empire Era inspires everyone,I think ,to see more and more sea battles,doesn't it ?I would suggest a Mod that there will be 5 maybe 6 factions.
Each faction would have some islands/territories.
The main factions would be:
Great Britain
France
Spain
Dutch
Pirates and
Native tribes
The Campaign Map should be something like that:

I'm not a modder !But this is just a suggestion !

And why the Dutch? If it is to put the nations wich had more colonies we would have to include by the folowing order (size and number of colonies):

-Spain
-England
-Portugal
-France
-Holland

This also correspond to the most powerfull nations of that time, so if there will be 5 playble nations, this would be the ones.

Man good information !But from these I've read,the Portuguese were Colonised only in the south-east of latin America in Brazil,not the Caribbean .

great idea ill use puerto rico with the spaniards to conquer the carrebean.One thing Span had Cuba and dominican republic in the carribean.In the islands a lot of forts were built to protect from pirate and corsair raids.Example Puerto Rico sufer a great deal of raids by the english corsairs.One infac manage to enter the island but the fierce resistance of the people included a celebrated hero in my town Capitan Correa retreated the attack.You will have to do things like forts in the islands similar to the age.Still great idea hope you succed

Yes, you are absolutely right i didnt give much attention to the topoic name so i didnt realise that was only about caribean.

Great idea but I'd hope that CA would do something like this (a small [really small]) sea based tutorial for different naval situations. I guess this would also include the general tutorial and think that this is the perfect place to do it. Hope you do the mod though

You might also want to add Denmark in the mix to spice things up as they had St. Croix Island (from 1733), St. Jan Island/St. John (from 1716), St. Thomas Island (from 1672)
