The map is good but we need less africa and a bit more europe!
TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
    read this to avoid misunderstandings.

IWTE tool master and world txt one like this, needed inorder to release TGC 1.0 official to help TWC to survive.
Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.

The mod focuses the golden age of the roman empire, right ?
So I would focus the mod on italy, balcans, anatolya and the levant (parts of france and germany)
to show the wars against the bulgarians and the muslims
A map as big as the one from M2TW would be to inaccurate
The Vicings can start as an emerging faction in the north
Danke King Kong dass ich Third Age ab meinem Geburtstag zocken kann

We would not like to have the saxon north out of our map neither the last gothic kingdoms of Spain...

Yes...this era is more facinated than we think...It may have no knights but it has a lot of interesting factions and units(lombardic cataphracts)!

More Europe a, less Africa alot better because with Africa its a big bunch of space which was sooo boring at the time apart from kingdom of Axum and Makuria i say you take back the starting date to lets say 632 reasons being because then Caliphate is one faction and you can take a faction like the Sassanids all the way against the Franks and its seems unique, my mod East of Rome can provide a Bagratuni roster though i cant say it will be 100% historically accurate

In what era will this mod span? You should also add Serbia, Macedonia and Carantania as factions.
I would like to be involved in this project, because I'm a huge fan of byzantium, so the persons who are creating this mod (if you are) please contact me.

The solution could be "only cities"and stone forts!

Yes only cities is easy its easy to change the files to change the castle files making the castle a city which is just military based and you can make barracks and farms together and the normal cities economy based

I would suggest that the mod focus around the Roman Empire in that era. Britain would be pretty difficult to represent in this era.
