Alien VS Predator 2

Sorry if there already has been a review.

Im a big fan liked the first but after I seen the reviews for this film on the web it said rubbish too dark cannot see anything. So I thought I would give it a miss well anyway sitting outside in a cafe one day a blackie who flogs DVDs approached me and I was bored so I looked at what pirates he had and I came across AVP2 so for 3 euroes why not. Well anyway all the reviews are BS the film is good not dark at all I recommend it to you if you are unsure the only problem I have about the film if you have seen it is at the end where they are fighting towards the heli and the woman with the M4 does not reload her gun So that made me say WTF but looks good.

I think they have a good basis for a sequal but easily to destroy the entire franchise like now with predator tech I would like to see the start of ships e.t.c but no guns that shoot lasers cos in Alien which was after they had no lasers so if they add lasers its going down the drain what are your views?

It was a ok movie, but the Predalien reproducing method??? Thats screws the alien "mythology" up if you ask me .

They said it was a queen yes, but then I think: Why the hell would the queens in Alien lay eggs when they can impregnate hosts and so make aliens faster and in larger numbers??

This movie was terrible....I mean....a disgrace to the franchise of both Alien and Predator...and this is coming from someone who saw AVP1.

It was good when the predator went around blowing peoples heads up, and then he used the mighty shuriken of death (tm) to pin that chick to the wall.

@lt.Bradford: I reckon they will start bringing them in the 3rd film thanks to the technology but I think Ripley came before the Colonial Marines so I dont think so

AVP 2 - When you compare the AVP films to the four Alien films you realise two overiding facts:

1. Not a patch to the original four films by an order of magnitude.

2. There is no chance for a new actual Alien film now.

I admit there are some good sequences in AVP1 - the first fight between an Alien and a Predator is excellant BUT the human characters are hopeless. The lead character can't act. Not once do I actually believe her as an actor. Ditto AVP2.

And why they tried to turn into a near teen slasher film is just a travesty. I mean, there is quite enough Hollywood shite around on that subject without ruining the Alien!
