    Default AI problem

Everytime enemy sieges one of my cities / castles and when I fight the battle myself, when the battle starts, enemies just drop their siege eguipment and go to some sort of formation and waits to me attack. It's very annoying. Anyone know what to do to about that?

    Attack them!

Seriously, there's nothing wrong, it is normal AI behavior since patch 1.1 (or 1.2?). You are attacking them, so they form out of range of your towers and wait. They have nothing to lose, because unless you beat them the siege continues.

Very much what I do when I'm the besieger and the enemy sallies.

So I need to let them to attack me if I want them to rush at my walls?

Don't worry, the AI doesn't generally try to starve you out, at least I haven't seen it, maybe someone else has. You will only lose a few troops in a couple of turns. They will lose a lot more by trying to storm ytour castle without siege weapons!
