I've just read that and realised my mistake and the rampant flattery... well i thought you should know how much i enjoy your mod, and as long as it makes you happy... i'll try to contain myself in future

Great, thanks for the replies, I really feel like I got what I wanted. Stainless Steel looks good to me, but I'll check out DHRR as well.
Cheers
you wont regret it.
He might regret it - he'll regret being so glued to his computer by DHRR's shocking, awesome, stunning, splendrous, wondertastic, beautilicious amazingmentness that he forgets to eat or drink for 8 days and dies
We should probably post a health warning...

Hi everyone
Sorry guys, I've been looking all around the dHRR-forum, I'm probably too tired. Where can I find what the benefits of being emperor are again?
Thanks
P.S.: I read somewhere that you shouldn't attack another faction within the first ten turn of gameplay because the AI in this mod cannot handle the fast strikes in the beginnning. Are there any other things I should know in order to play this mod properly, and where could I look those up? (Btw, does this 10 turn thing go for all mods/vanilla of M2TW, or is this a special dHRR issue?)

have a look in the features thread.

Hehe...
No, seriously, I have now, for the xth time, looked through all threads I can find that might include this information, using all search tools available (searching "emperor" and "benefits"), I still can't find it. This is so bad because I'm sure I had seen it somewhere before.
So, if someone would be merciful and guide this blind dog that I seem to be, that'd be greatly appreciated.
(The feature-thread has a lot of information about the emperor: how he is crowned; what he must to to receive the full benefits of his office; anti-pope/counter-king - all of that and more, but never (at least to my eyes) the actual advantages in terms of game systems (like +x command or whatever). Also, there is a thread that lists all the other titles and what they do, but the emperor title is not part of that list as well).
I'm not sure we actually have that written down anywhere on here...
about the 10 turns thing, its usually a good idea in any mod (or even vanilla) to let the AI build up a bit (the AI can never move as fast as a human player). In our mod, its so recommended that you get penalised if you do blitz them

That's a good hint then... might make the games more challenging to give the AI some time in the beginning. Do you know if the same goes for Rome-Total War as well (I guess it would, game mechanics seem so similar)?
Now... about those emperor benefits
If that's not written down somewhere around here, maybe someone knows about it anyway?
Still hoping
for a start, the king/emperor gets the reichssteuer (you may have read this in the features thread.
for the actual benefits of the "reichskrone" (king gets it at his coronation to emperor), dimitri has never revealed the exact ones, but i will ask him about the "numerous benefits".
That'd be great, thanks
You could just become the Emperor and find out first-hand of course

not everyone is destined to become emperor
Hey guys,
back from holidays, back for business ( ).
The Emperor's benefits in 0.6:
-Imperial Tax (see 'features')
-Some boost of stats
-possibility to boost them even more by going to Rome and becoming Emperor (or appointing an antipope if excommunicated and becoming Emperor at home)
-the emperor will never be banned; the other HRE factions will even allow him to attack his fellows without appointing a counter king IF he does a really great job otherwise.
-and finally: Hey, you're Emperor! - doesn't that feel great?
Rest assured I'll add more things in future versions.
Cheers,
D.
PS: like the others said: I'd recommend not to attack other faction in the first 15 turns in any mod, and not even in Vanilla.

I>m looking to give this mod a try but I was wondering if the AI was improved in this. I don<t wanna play with the sucy vanilla AI Anyone can tell?
Thanks
Of course: As stated in the readme, on the download page and in the review thread, dHRR uses Ultimate AI 1.6 with some tweaks of our own.
Cheers,
