May the Schwartz be with you.
No, that's not part of any mod It is just hardcoded into the game.
yeah, I had a game where I paid France to be my vassal for about 2.000.000 bucks, and I was okay with that because at the next turn France gave me all the money back, plus a little something for my troubles as a tribute. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense
Hi everyone
I got a simple question: I'd like to play the Stainless Steel-mod, but with an authentic HRE in the way that you have created. So, is it possible to use both of these mods at the same time?
Thanks

Hello
Sure it is - you just have to mod both mods into one. That's probably as much work as creating a major mod yourself, but it's possible.
There is no easy way, like copying files from one folder to another, however.
Cheers,

Sounds like a harsh truth
Thanks for the replies
Hi all
So, now that I know Stainless Steel and HRR are not compatible, I'd like to know this: has anyone of the HRR veterans played SS as well and can say something about how they compare? And I mean basically in terms of AI and overall difficulty/challenge.
Thanks a lot
Hi there.
I first wanted to thank you for this great mod. Since the first time i played MTW2 i wanted a more realistic german empire. You did an execellent job with the mod, i real aprreciate it.
On the other hand, there is something i realy don't like:
Is there a possibility to reset the building time to defaults?E.g. dirty streets should take only 1 round to be built instead of 2.
If anyone can help me with that, pls post it here.

@ areki38
well I've played SS lots as well (although Im not a team member there, so I may be somewhat biased ) but i think: neither is particularly easier/harder than the other. DHRR has a much deeper, intricate campaign, especially if you are a HRE faction, mainly because of the scripts. The rebels also pose much more of a challenge. But, its map covers a smaller area. Basically, if you want to play a European faction, play DHRR, and if you want to be able to go to the far east, play SS. Or better still, Broken Crescent . SS also runs slower than DHRR, which annoys me somewhat. Although its map is a bit prettier (but they've had aaaaagges to beautify it. DHRR is a younger mod. Oh, and DHRR has the best English campaign of any mod
@ Nex1990
I think those values can easily be edited in data/export_descr_buildings

hello!
the mod is great, but I have a question:
Wouldn't be awesome if you made the mod starting in about 1200, when the Habsburgs got into Imperial power? There were many counties, principalities etc in the Empire and you could possibly make it having a map only in Germany and Italy, with many states and with many provinces? France, Poland etc could make massive invasions, like hordes...
Just an idea, though...
Under the noble patronage of Jimkatalanos
we are considering doing a late campaign in ater versions, but that's a loooooooooooooong time away yet

Are SS and HRR incompatible? They work perfectly alongside each other on my computer :hmmm:however i've just uninstalled SS as it's taking up too much space and i don't play it enough since HRR 0.6 came out definately the best mod out there, totally immerses you in a realistic medieval europe. If you really need the middle east then Broken Crescent is the way to go not SS
Thanks Lion we appreciate your rampant flattery
SS and DHRR can both work on the same computer side-by-side, but areki38 wanted to know how hard it would be to put HRR features into SS - answer: VERY
