So from what I have understood the release of "The Danube Limes 0.9 Beta" has been a little rough to say the least. I have myself tried it but was forced to immediately surrender as my UI failed to appear in most menus. However, I would like to felicitate the team for all the work already accomplished and to encourage the team in the mist of the current difficulties.

As for a first counter-attack, I suggest to update the main Danube Limes thread with all the hotfixes and corrections as to improve their accessibility to East of Rome fans.

I'm not sure if this was supposed to happen but when I booted this baby up and started the Danube campaign all the UI was white and I tried a custom battle but the UI there was also completely white. I have had no luck with finding some kind of patch or something so it would be nice if someone directed me to one if one does exist.

You should download the unit UIfix, text fix and EDU fix which could be found some pages back in this thread (It would be cool if someone could add them to OP). They really fixed the otherwise unplaylable game for me.

Hello !

I'm trying to play the Danube Limes but unfortunately at the beginning of the game during the round of Free Peoples is a CTD (immediately after entering the army Free Peoples to their city).
I note that I uploaded a 2 hot-fixes (UI and Text).
Or is it a new hot-fix?

Let me also add that the mainline Christianity in the game is called "Chalcedonian Christianity". While this may be true to refer to the Sees of the Empire that adhered to the Council of Chalcedon, I will point out that not only is the term too wordy and can be confusing for people who do not know what the council of Chalcedon was, it is also not a historically accurate term. In all official imperial edicts and writings of popes and patriarchs in the pre-schism church, the mainline Christianity was always referred to as "Catholic christianity". Now this does not mean Roman Catholic (catholics adhering to the See of Rome), nor does it mean Orthodox Catholic. The fact of the matter is that both the pre-schism East and West viewed the church as the "One, Holy, Catholic and apostolic church". There should be no problem with calling it Catholic Christianity in the game because we Orthodox as well as the Roman bretheren believe that the church is the Catholic church. It is inaccurate to assume that Catholic means the papacy, because Katholikos is a Greek word meaning universal, or whole, and is the one and only PERFECT term to accurately refer to the mainline church In the game. I hope that the developers will recognize the greater practicality of changing it to "Catholic Christianity".

Good evening everyone, first i'd like to say that this mod looks really interesting, i downloaded it this evening and everything went perfect, untill i started the Danube Campaign and saw this in my screen:



Same thing happend in custom battle. Could someone from this mod explain if i have done something wrong with downloading the file? or does this mod needs a new patch?

Is not problem with your graphic card but this mod is not finally released, only on the beta tester way.

Did you click on the Bulgar Spearmen unit? It seems to be causing crashes when I play as the Avari.

Got a bug at first turn that made me crashed to desktop, was just checking out cities and changing revenues and crashed when i tried to change turn

Usually have ctd in battle.

2 and 3 turn crash. it depend. i don't know on what.
but i can't go next in my campaign. i have resolve the problem of ui and of roman officer with fix.
but this i don't know how solve.

regarding this beta: I notice that not every units has decriptions/statistics/immagini or Ui Pictures.
if I strat a battle I have a CTD.

I advice to use a Unique settlement for Konstantinoupolis
Lie tsrasdom or Basileia total war or AP.
