    Can you explain a bit more precise, what is wrong with your sound, please? Those countries you mentioned have sound or have not any sound?

    they haven't got the sound from kingdoms.. For example the Welsh are using the English sound sets and the Irish are using the scotish soundset... is what i meant... I was wondering whether its possible to ge the soundset these countries used in Kingdoms.

    Now i understand. This is possible, but not without a few mod work. To make a long story short, you must extract, add and paste the sound files from kingdoms to the mod sound folder and readress many of the sound-text-files to use the new sounds with the specific events you want.

    But i've the german version of kingdoms and there are no new voices-sound-files in kingdoms. The only thing that is different are the music-files and some effect-sounds. By default (CA) managed that irish use the scottish voices and the Welsh using the englih voices.

    BTW, i'm aware of the problems in KGCM with the sound issues for ireland saying there are scottish and Wales saying there are english. I've found the solution and allready have pm Dave to solve this problem.

    there is a set Of fiel sin each mod folder relating to the kigndoms campaigns (britania, teutonic etc...) could these be the files with the correct voices in?

    As i allready said, i dont know if the english kingdoms version have additional voices within. But if yes, they are in the dir you've mentioned. My version has only new voices for the america (natives) campaign.

    Hello
    first, thanks for the sound-fix (for the german version), one reason why I chose this mod. I first tried Grand Unit Addon Mod, but it had the same problems with the sound.

    I haven´t played KGCM much, but I´m missing accoustic comments during a diplomatic action, not in generall but with my Princess from Jerusalem talking to an hungarian Army (without any general or family member). Also the textbox in the diplomatic window is empty. I mean the box where the AI says for example: "It was a please to give you trading rights noble lord"

    I hope you understand what I mean, I fear my english is bad. It would be great if someone other with the german version could test it.

    May I ask is this with KGCM 3.0? or have you installed patch 4.1 yet?

    It´s with KGCM 4.1 (+the garrison file and menu crash fix) + the sound-fix-files + XAI
    Installed over a Kingdoms 1.05 german version.

    I replaced campaign_script.txt with the file attached to the first post in http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=170021 and also replaced the descr_sounds_accents by userprobe from this thread.
    I did a backup of both original files.

    Hello everyone, first of all I'd like to congratulate for the great mod you created.

    second, a little question.

    I have some problems with sounds in general.. when I play a battle I hear no sound form the soldiers ong the battlefiled.. it is completely mute it doesnt matter the faction i play.. this is a problem linked only to the balltes.. when Im on the campaign map sound works correctly.

    I hope someone can help me with this lil' problem.

    Edit: I play 4.2 Version, My original version of Medieval Total War was installed in italian, hope it can help, if you need further info just ask me and I'll post what you need.

    Sorry the hear this. I agree with you. I am not familiar with a similar situation as the one you described. Try a complete reinstall and see if that fixes it.

    amazing... I installed Heroes Hordes & beyond and the sound started working!.... or maybe I should have done it before....?

    Most likely some of the sound files for v4.2 did not install correctly and by installing HHB, which is closely based on v4.2, the files were installed correctly.
