Nothing is interesting unless it is packed with Silver Ninja Wizards

Seleucid Ninja Wizards will rule the world some day. It is known.
"I, Pinkie Pie, declare that these treats are fit for a king, or a queen, or a princess!"
"Me? Ruin? I'm not the ruiner, I'm the ruinee! Or is it ruinness? Ruinette?"
"She's ahead of the litter all right. The pick of the litter. The cat's pajamas. Oh wait. Why would Applejack take some poor kitty's pj's? That's not very sporting of her."
"More balloons! No, that's too many balloons. More candy! No, less candy. Ooh! I know! Streamers!"
"Oh my gosh. Hold on to your hooves – I am just about to be brilliant!"

Clicking on the Massilia, Cyrenica, Bactria, Bosphoran, and Pergamum campaigns sends me back to the provincial campaign list.

Sorry for continuing with this ,but you must solv the following stuff:
1)descriptions for:Getae Elite Phalanx; German Spear Throwers; German Speutas Phalanx; Iberian Auxilia.
    2) UI in campain for African Elephants.

These might be minor glitches, but their importance must not be neglected and must be fixed for a better gameplay experience eaven for the test versions.

You have the brains, Seleucids gets the brawns

That said, from the looks of your map the Seleucids are getting gang-raped so you can't really say they are overpowered...
Unless of course you'd like the old thorakitai back, those would be way nastier to face though.

I am sorry to say this but based on that picture it seems like the opposite is happening Zarax. They have not lost any l;ands to Armenbia, Pontus, Egypt, Eastern Kingdoms or the Indipendant Greeks.. Unless of course their borders have been changed

You think that Seleucids are overpowered now?
wait for the silver ninja wizards to arrive.

Jokes aside, SE is not overpowered, it's just pretty damn lucky.
most of the time the Ptolemies do not apply enough pressure on them early on which gives them enough time to evolve into a juggernaut.

You get honours for having survived the Silver Death
Although it is not that difficult, I myself have managed it as Pergamum, Pontus, Armenia, Baktria, Parthia, Scythia, Macedonia, Greece, Ptolemaics and Saba.

you play on easy/easy and still complain about difficulty?

can't you even grasp the basis of "how to kill elite soldiers with lower quality one" ?

can't you just hold that Silver Shields with steppe infantry (I said hold, don't expect them to win alone by this), and then simply shot at their back with HA? or if you are poor, look for foot archers/slingers (they are even better to do it, just more vulnerable and slower to reach the destination)

if you complain you lost soo many steppe infantry, then you must read that those guys are slaves that literally whipped to battle, meatshields FTW, that was realism - eastern infantry, while not too bad, are best used for meat shields

You want realism yet you want to unrealistically pull an Alexander on them?

Historically the Parthians spent the first fifty years of the game avoiding the Seleucid armies and slowly nibbling what they could when major satrapal rebellions or war with Egypt happened while spending most of their time engaging border conflicts with the satrap of Baktria and the Massagetae.
Whenever a half decent Seleucid emperor was in power and sent an army there they fled and cowered in submission until the Seleucids were crippled by Rome and even then they couldn't take alone on the full might of the empire until Antiochius VII Sidetes.

The Armenians were submitted (although a pretty independent satrapy) to the Seleucids and staid so until the battle of Magnesia.
Even then they had to wait another half century and Tigranes the great before serious expansion.

Pontus was another Seleucid satrapy, actually one in which they happily married in the Seleucid royal family to keep peace and we don't see anything major done by them until Mithradates VI.

The only actual power that had a chance to take on the Seleucids was the Ptolemaic kingdom, with which they had several wars and a pretty even military score until massive Roman intervention.
Yet most of their history was spent with the two powers fighting over Phoenicia and Judaea, but even at its top performance they couldn't maintain any gain due to internal rebellions.
Later on (especially after the battle of Panium) even the Ptolemies could survive mostly thanks to roman support.

History lessons aside, try using subterfuge rather than raw military strength as a power bordering the Seleucids.
Get alliances with the other satraps, incite rebellion in cities near you and sabotage their order buildings (especially the government and temples).

Unlike EB AI doesn't have unlimited money so TSE won't be able to churn elites on long and sustain multiple fronts, making them very vulnerable in the long run.

Hey guys by the way, when do you think the official final release of XC 4 will be?I'm just curious .
Oh and a thought:that Eastern Kingdoms faction has no point in the game in my opinion and should be replaced by something else like
Indian Kingdom or Dacia as or a new German or Gallic country like The Boii or the Belgae. These are just my oppinions and i had to make them known as you may use them if you wish.
