I was thinking that soon Empires: Total War comes and what I've heard, it is easier to mod. So if some people are interested about this, I can make a mod proposal to "Empires Mod Proposals" section forum in TWCenter. I'm pretty sure which factions family members and regions there should be. But the problem is, I don't know anything about skinning, modeling, coding or scripting, I can only research . So if anybody is interested I can make a proposal thread.

Yes but we can do all research work now and concentrate to modding when Empires will be published, if this will ever happen

Should the Valar be totally excluded?

Well not as a faction, I think I mean Valar, Maiar and Vanyar came to fought only once to last battle which ended First Age.

Yeah VERY overpowering. And as a faction they would be too overpowered, no match for them in Middle Earth

The idea is great but I think it would be hard to do. Yet I think you should first finish this mod. There would also be a problem with models which mostly would have to be "made up".

No they don't I can come up with the descriptions and pics of almost anything during that age and there should be only Two Valar in the Game Morgoth and Manwe.
