    Default Underground dwarf cities, and underground battles?

    Will you try and set up an underground scenario? dwarves fought mostly underground, with goblins and trolls. They were pretty hopless in open field battles.

    Also, their cities were all underground, almost unreachable by cavalry and siege equipment. Their doors were mate in the sides of mountains, pretty unbreachable.

    What will be done about this?:hmmm: :hmmm:

    First of all, this would be the place where to ask questions like this.

    I don't know if it will be implented, I doubt it though. It seems really hard to me to mod that and I never heard of any mod who did it. Anyway, one of the team developers should answer that question.

    Dwarves are not hopless in open field battles. They made quite a stand in the Nirnaeth Arnoediad, the battle of the Five armies and the battle of Azanulbizar

    But Bard just before the arrival of the goblins at the battle of the five armies, says how the dwarves could win any battle underground but, overground they couldn't achieve much. (charging uphill sort of thing)

    ah i also think that the dwarves should have more moral, and maybe they could chant some war speaches in dwarvish....BARUK KHAZAD! KHAZAD AI MENU

    oh to hear that being shouted on the fields of battle would fill me with joy and hatred towards the filth of the goblins....and orcs.......and trolls...and the rest of those dirty buggers

    perhaps a script when battles in certain part of the map , you "must" fight in the night to present underground ? (and of course those part of the map spawns rocky and mountains like terrain when battled on)

    I think that is what we will have to do. Count(er) is experimenting with this stuff.

    could you code in a way that dwarves never leave their city? That would stop them from fighting outside...

    yeah the mod is about what ifs and we want to know what if dwarves decided that they wanted to take a beach vacation in harad on a large scale

    I was trying to work that into my post I just couldn't figure out how anyways we should get back on topic after all my test work has been some useful work it just will probably require some more testing and if I didn't keep sleeping in to 2:00PM I would have time to run more tests

    To add to that point , the dwarven or globin city will be where a mountain part will be "squared" and a settlement will be placed in the middle of this squire part where a Narrow pas will represent the "entrance" of that cave , so that squire is in fact "inside the mountain , representing.

    Maybe a bit easy to script ?

    it wouldn't really be a script to do that but I do know how it could be done and will test in the morning
