What is the recommended difficulty of this mod?

By that I mean what level were the units balanced out for so they don't get moral bonuses over the player. TNX

M/M (if your campaign is any harder, you'll cook in IBFD)
I typically play M/H though (medium battle, hard campaign)

read my warning to th op of thread-ony multiply that by 100 (not only the campaigns are harder, so is the battlefield, especially ERE, not WRE (the reason worships Ahura mazda).

What about setting the campaign to VH and the battles to medium?

I don't have a problem with the AI getting extra cash etc, but as far as actually fighting the battles go, they shouldn't get any added bonus.

in that game, VH=suicide, especially if you are roman ( ERE or WRE or ERC). other facions will also become hard. the huns will still be easy-ish though.
if you want advice on surviving VH campaign, talk to Parallel pain, a member of the guild.

I always play campaign on VH.
I usually play RTR and I have never played a campaign on anything other than VH. The factions range from the Seleucids and Bactria to Numidia and Armenia.

And I always fought battles on VH too.
Whats the difference in battles between Medium, Hard and Very Hard?

the harder, the more advantages there are to the AI (they make more mulla in campaign, they're units are deadlier in battle, etc)

So if you set battles to medium, then the AI units are just as they should be.
And presumably the same as your troops etc?

Basically they have no advantages on Medium?

    Yes.

On harder difficulties the AI gets unit and moral bonuses but they don't act any smarter than on Medium Difficulty.
