    i've had that exact problem, you got to reinstall the entire game rome: total war included, and reinstall, plus you can't install any other mods

    That's not the solution actually. the solution is reading the instructions better. Before installing FATW, you must update your BI to 1.6. So, uninstall only FATW (by deleting the 'ci" folder), apply BI 1.6 patch and then reinstall the mod..

    actually i had installed acording the instructions, and i did that, you just can't have any mods that don't work from within theyr own folder, Cracks included.

    Um..then you did not install according to the instructions as the instructions require a clean RTW/BI...

    Only entirely modfoldered mods will keep the original files clean - most good mods will be entirely modfoldered these days.

    I'm wondering, google search might be your best friend here? Usually you just need to double click on the file and it will start installing.

    Yeah, usually it's but an simple exe-file.
    I would rather have a memory that is fair but unfinished than one that goes on to a grievous end.
