Crashing when trying to do campaign

SS looks really great, and I had lots of fun with a custom battle.. But whenever I try do a campaign it just closes to desktop, early campaign just closes as soon as I click it and late era campaign lets me look at the factions for a bit before closing to desktop.
What do I do?

:hmmm: I would redownload and reistall in correct order just in case I had messed up or gotten a corrupted download. It is worth it.

Late Era will crash to desktop if you click around on several factions at the faction select screen. It is a known bug.

What do the last 5 lines of your system.log.txt file look like? (in the M2TW\logs\ folder)

i find that the game CTDs if i look at faction descriptions of more than half the factions, but you can get by that, you might have a better chance of playing early if you click it first before late or custom battle as the game seems to like you only playing on youre first pick.
