How to turn of Hording for defeated factions ?

Im sick of waiting so long for KoJ to respawn after i beat them down.
I never have waited long for crusade, Cuman and Mongol spawning, but KoJ "respawn" takes forever. Makes Ayyubid campain boring as i cant take out KoJ, who keeps sending all their army for Edessa and declares war at me with 3 tier2 ships when he has no army in all the Holy Land... and i got trebuchets so siege spawning units wont work...

So i want to know, what to edit to remove respawning.

data => descr_sm_factions.txt.

I'm not sure if it'll work but you might only have to remove the lines on hording under KoJ.

why would you want to remove the KOJ ability of reappearing, it's the best thing in playing as the ayyubids, i would recommend keeping it to make the game a better challenge, there is nothing better than having all your armies on the frontier then seeing your enemy's armies at your main cities.
it's the challenges that cannot be foreseen that makes Total War.

Waiting few hours for them to respawn is not under "fun" in my dictionary.

I only have to wait like five minutes, anyway I love seeing them run into some far anyway land after you've beaten their main army. I've currently lost track of the small KOJ army lead by King Leopald, but I believe he was heading nort to kypchak(my bad if I mispelled) territory, with about 150 men

Yes, hunting KoJ down was fun. They ran off into Roman territory so I sent a fleet loaded with heavy cavalry to finish them off. My relationship with ERE was screwed of course, but it's all fun.

I think it was Arnold something the Mad (later named The Lucky or something) who was running around Arabia for 12 or so turns before he disappeared. I wonder where he is now xD.

Hmm...I mgiht try this out. In my games I have to protect KoJ at all costs because their hording causes a complete CTD. At least yours actually respawn!

Eh, the hording is a bit unrealistic at times, but it's fun.

I'd love it if the factions a while after after dying would "reappear" in some of their old territories with some member of the old ruling family leading them...

Of course, it wouldn't be much fun to kill, say Oman 30 times in a game, so a limit would be needed.

Faction spawn is super fast, its just ressurectiong that takes hell long. Maybe its becouse factions ressurect in MY turn ? (i sieged and killed Aleppo, not Aleppo broke the siege and i slougthered them)
