    Default Map Screens

The map for Europe Total War : Wars of Corruption.

Thanks to King Pietro and sub commander for their work. You will have the same map for the two other campaigns, but I change settlements for this campaign, because the faction list isn't the same

Keep in mind that this map is just a beta, grounds, climates, armies and starting position aren't finished

OMG, this is a great map so far probably much more historical and rational than the vanilla map! Good start. Though may be too big for my tastes.

So armies get to walk on water in this mod??(look at your pics)
Look forward to seeing more of this mod

I know this is a beta map, but I agree with this guy. My main question is what the heck made you decide to flood the low countries like that? The two cities you gave them are very far from their actual location, even by game standards. Leeuwarden seems an odd city to include.

Just because, the gameplay in the mod is as important as the history.

    But I use googlemaps for Leeuwarden, I don't think I did a error ?

Its a nice map, though it would be great if the map was expanded up north to Nidaros(which was the capital of Norway), this would represent Norway's economy and power alot better.

You should change Stavanger to Stafangr, Oslo to Ásló and Skien to Skiđa. These names are in Old Norse and are more accurate.

The cities Kristiansand, Fredrikstadt and Stockholm did not exist at this time at all.

I'd suggest replacing Fredrikstadt with Konghelle (region should be called Bagahuslán) which would should be represented as castle. Stockholm should be replace with with Upsala (Also this should be the only city Sweden controlls).

Here is a map of medieval Norwegian cities.

Could you explain how this improves the gameplay? Because this doesn't seem even remotely related to gameplay. It's just, as Orko said, unhistorical.

You placed it at least 130 kilometers away from it's actual location, and it's a city that was nowhere near important enough in the middle ages to represent an entire region.

Just because two settlements for Friesland is better than one.

What do you suggest so ?

That's part of why I mentioned the flooding. On this map, the actual area of Friesland in 1100 is completely covered by water. I just saw the map you're basing this on here, and the size that shows for Friesland makes no sense at all for 1100. This map I've scanned should give you a better idea of the area. Leeuwarden would be under the "F" of Friesland.

What do you suggest so ?
If you want two settlements I'd suggest going with Bruges and the County of Flanders for the south, a very important trade settlement in your period, and Utrecht for the northern part.
