Default Unit sizes from EB1 to EB2

    Hello everyone...

I always loved big unit sizes like those in EB1 that numbered from 200-240 on infantry and 100 on cavalry and sometimes more for generals and so on...

My question is will we see those magic numbers on EB2 aswell or will you guys limit it somehow?

    Probably around the same.

You can always change it yourself if they dont do it.

I really hope they will keep the same unit sizes from EB1. I was kinda dissapointed that the max unit size in MTW2 is 150 men per unit(IIRC). However I heard the kingdoms expension allowed the same unit sizes we had like in RTW.

Maybe you should add the unit size question in your FAQ. I think a lot of people are wondering about this.

    IIRC, these are the limits:
    RTW: 240
    M2TW: 200
    Kingdoms: 250

Is there still only 20 units slots in one army in M2TW?

    Indeed.

It's a bit offtopic, but I've been wondering why AI armies can have more than 20 units in one stack.

They can't. It may look like they do, but they don't. Don't count the number of lines (2) plus extra, count the number unit cards there are. It will be 20.

Yeah, you get two rows of ten. The AI gets two rows of nine plus a third row with two.

The AI does have the advantage of being able to control multiple stacks of units in one battle unlike the human, however.

well, that depends on your definition of 'control'... that said, I hope we'll be getting the option to give orders to allied armies that was present in Kingdoms. It was always useful for keeping them out of harms way.

That feature made me sad. They said you could "control multiple stacks", but it only turned out you could choose between a couple behaviours for AI control.

I prefer not to have the AI lead my armies, i`d rather command just one at the time.

People will believe a lie because they want it to be true; or they're afraid it's true.
Given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe its true, or because they're afraid it might be true. Peoples' heads are full of knowledge, facts and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People are stupid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool.

I hope the phalanx has 250 men (the makedonian one). that would properly depict a 16x16 formation as accurately as possible (so 250+3 officers=sweet!)

MAA, you actually can exert some control over them by clicking on the pic and then ordering the second army to move to a specific spot. You'll know you have that control when the second, allied army has blue circles under them. Set the stance you want and move them as you wish, just can't do it unit by unit, as far as I know.

    Hope that helps a bit.
