Perfectly!
But I have a remark - an armour do not shine at all and obviously too light... IMHO it is necessary to make them little bit more darkly

LOTR TW is very very good, but this will be visually better. Better landscapes, internal unit mixes of looks, various equipment differences as you go and refine your models. Better textures.
It really looks good. Let me put it this way ... some of the screen shots almost look now like what you'd expect to see in Alan Lee's illustrated version of LOTR. Honestly, you're well on your way to making a work of art. You got the creativity and the tools, that's certain.
Only two artistic disagreements though. Although, I really like the clothing and the equipment/weapons of the men of Lossenarch, I think the Axemen, look too much like tall dwarf appearing men. If possible, could there be a mix of looks, young with hair as well as old and grim. Don't get me wrong, I think the older tough bald guy is on cue, but the men of Lossenmarch were also a bunch of mongrels. Doubt you can mix heights.
Again, it always a gas to cruise through this site. Thanks
Second, the long gown appearance of the Swan knights from the rear, should be shortened.
So will those be the only Gondor units, or are you guys working on more?
*vaguely wonders what's with the Numenorian tree on the shields of the standard infantry, and why the Fountain Guard have got purple cloaks*
Good stuff aside from that though very impressive. Some extra touches like giving the infantry the proper infantry sword would be awesome.. but some really impressive skin work there.
Also Gondor archers should wear the quiver at the hip

Very impressive!
Perhaps they are aiming for an elite corps of Dol Amroth knights, but the elven bloodline was kept only to the princes of the city, no?Maybe they want to have the regular dol amroth knights be different from the elven-blooded swan knights of dol amroth, this way we will have more units

No, we are still working back ground of dwarves, next will be Rohan or maybe Isengard. We might also get new units to gondor yet :

Hi all,
Thanks all for the nice words!
to answer some of the questions:
Just one question. Why do the Guards of the Citadel have purple cloaks?I have only found images where they wear a dark purple cloak and also no image showed them with a shield, so the citdel guard will work like a phalanx.why the citadel guards have no shields?
If someone convinces me that they should be different, I may change this...
From what I've seen there are at least two versions of Dal Amroth Knights:Why do you have Swan Knights and Knights of Dol Amroth?
The normal (light) Knights with chainmail and the elite warriors, the Swan Knights (... of Dal Amroth, to be correct)
Thanks Shredder!Perfectly!
But I have a remark - an armour do not shine at all and obviously too light... IMHO it is necessary to make them little bit more darkly
Well, actually I thought that armor would shine at least a bit (especially the polished armor of Gondorian units ).
Also I tried to keep the vanilla style of the grayish colour and reflections.
Anyway, I will probably change the colurs a bit...
Thanks for the note!
What do you mean with proper swords? Actually the skins of the swords (which are actually plain simple) are from a rebuild of a gondorian movie sword....Some extra touches like giving the infantry the proper infantry sword would be awesome
At least I will make a captain and a general unit. Also the preview is actually missing the Gondorian spearmen (Gondor Infantry with spears), the mounted Knights of Dal Amroth and of course the artillery units. So will those be the only Gondor units, or are you guys working on more?
I don't think they will get another very "unique" unit.
I should also mention that all units are still WIP, so I may change several small things.

These units really are impressive. Will there be gondorian longbowmen like the ones in FATW?
KK, are those Ithilien Rangers "hybrid" -units? By that I mean that are they also quite strong with sword?
The Lords of Gondor have returned!
Looking great guys.
