Because when i defeated the English as Scotland in SS, my 'allies' the French (you know, those backwards people that can't win a war to save themselves - ever) turned on me and crossed the channel.

True, but this uses a different campaign AI than vanilla.

How long would they bother? Also dwarfes have quite a while to, when you master the art (which I would say you can do in 200-300 years :p) I dont think further endles years of practice would give you such a huge upper hand.

Agility and arm's reach are also quite decisive factors.

I always turn on my allies when they get in the Way!

Even if it's just in thw way of me crossing a bridge. That really pisses me off, when i have a huge that needs to be on the front. And what do i find! My Allies has oh so strategically placed 2 units on a bridge i need to Cross. So i tactically massacre them and cross the bridge.

Lol I mean using TA:TW's diplomacy (good on you going Scotland )

They're are a few very strong alliances in the game, designed not to attack each other, I'm wondering if this will change after a side is eliminated.

Give me and example of Elves and Dwarves that liked each other, other than Legolas and Gimli.

Celembribor and Narvi, Caranthir and Dwarves of Ered Luin in 1st Age

Noldor of Eregion and Longbeards of Khazad-dûm had stronger friendship than any dwarves and elves had before or later. I think that in case of Caranthir it was more about business, they didn't really like each other. Same thing with Sindar of Doriath and dwarves of Ered Luin.

do Fountain Guard have purple cloaks only on the inner side? EDIT I saw it on the screen of CitGuard,nevermind....but why have you decided to change colour?
could you try making 3-d wings for Citadel Guard? they would differ more this way from ordinary swordsmen and spearmen!!! smth like Turambar did

I'd say no - have a look at the Kings Guard In-game picture, and you'll see a purple cloak.

As for the Kings Guard, they don't really need 3D Wings to set them apart, do they? After all they do have a black cloak.

The trim on the Guards cloaks do look a little stretched, or blurred, though. Other than that, they are pretty much perfect!
