Japan Campaign Map

Hi, not sure if this is the right section for this but couldnt find another about maps so here goes.

Like alot of people on this forum I'd like to see a shogunTW style mod for RTW, I'm aware of Sengoku Jidai and I'm looking forward to its release as much as the next RTW gamer. However there are other mods with exellent japanese style units, but no campaign map. So while waiting for SJ I thought I would make a campaign map of my own. I have used BHD' s method of map_heights and put the rest together using Myddraals guide.



I have not as yet but intend to post the map files so they are avaible for download. Screen shots below





I have also made some new building models for the campaign map



As I said once this is posted I'll try to upload the files. This is my first from scratch mapping project so if anyone has any suggestions or tips to make it better I'd appreciate it. I'm happy for people to use this map for any private mods, (not sure if its good enough) but if anyone wants to use it in a public mod if they could please contact me.

Looks great! Though I think it would look better in the battle map if you add more mountain ground type to some of the steep areas.

Thanks for the feed back I appreciate it! Think your right about the mountains so hope that this looks better. Also made a new interface will attach along with updated ground_types.tga
