Default Bug Reports & Technical Help

Hello everybody, and welcome to our brand new bug reports & technical help forum!
In this forum you should look if the problem you are experiencing has already been reported by someone else, and/or if a fix has been released for it yet.
If you don't find anything, and there isn't a thread about a similar issue than yours either, you can open a new thread

In the following days this forum will be expanded with technical help stickies with important information.

just a question...where does the 2.22 patch install to?

    The RTW directory?

    The RoP modfolder?

I ask because the installer just says 'C://Program files' in the prompt.

You just need to find the pathfinding of your Rome Total War data.
That's really not difficult, just find it and then past it on the installing process.

Just curious if anyone has had luck installing this on Steam - I assume all it would take is changing the launch options to reflect the name of the modfolder, correct?

    Don't know how that works.

Well, for Fourth Age all you have to do is right-click Rome: Total War in your Steam Library, choose 'Properties', click 'Set Launch Options', and then type in the following:

    -mod:bi/fatw -show_err -nm -ne

I would guess for Rise of Persia you'd do something similar, just instead of 'fatw' you'd probably have to type whatever the folder name is for the mod (maybe ROP?), so:

    -mod:bi/rop -show_err -nm -ne

    ?

Also (and probably related), is Rise of Pesia modfoldered - so, in other words, I can have Rise of Persia and Fourth Age installed at the same time, and switch between them?
