    Default Medieval Tour of Wales

If you are interested in the Medieval era, Then there is no other country like Wales to visit. Wales is a Nation of Castles or as the saying goes The Land of Castles. With over 450 castles to its name, It offers more than any other country in the world, On precisely what the Medieval age was about.

One of the most famous castles in wales, An the biggest actual Castle in the World, Forgetting about phony Castles like Prague and Windsor is Caerphilly Castle. A giant of a thing that stands in South Wales, Near to Cardiff. It has a such a large and imprinting history to its name, With Glyndwr's successful siege being the welsh highlight. Ever couple of weeks, Caerphilly hosts annual events such as reenactments and the firing of siege engines, To Medieval style banquets and all that kind of thing.

Wales, Not even being a faction in MTW2 is in my opinion a disgrace to say the least, Wales being a country not very rich indeed compared to England and Scotland, Has always been left to rot in the British Isles, English and Scottish suppression has driven Wales into in some cases poverty. Only if people actually knew the history and the Great Military leaders such as Owain Gwynedd and Llywelyn ap Gruffydd, An their fight for Freedom would their small economy start to pick up.

Scotland has its William "Welshman" Wallace but Wales doesn't have its multi million pound movie made about the real Braveheart of the British Isles, Llewelyn ap Gruffydd Fychan!

It is beautiful. I saw some places like that in Ireland.
