Amazing picture by Lacedemon, originally made for a wallpaper. I simply converted it into .tga file, and now you can use it for a splash screen.

To Install

Simply download the new image and replace it here:

C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Stainless_Steel_6\data\menu

Just make sure to rename the new image to SPLASH, otherwise it will not work.

I like it,

However the grey could look a little bit more metallic. It seems a bit out of place now with the 2 screenhsots being very dark.

I was also thinking that I should replace the two original screenshots, which I might just do when I get some free time again.

Looking very good yelowdogg23, i agree with Chimaeira, the New backround color should look at bit darker, as the screeshots are much gloomier/darker, so it would make a lot more sense making it a bit/lot darker. Anyways, you could also change the screenshots!

Maybe, if you have the time, you could re-make all of the other loading screens also, espcially the off centered sword, and its sort of weird black rectangle around it!

Looks good yelow. Maybe stain up the the back ground a little? Tarnished stainless steel? I don't know it looks good, maybe some new pics on the side.
Anyway i think it is really good.

My 2 complains would be the metal too bright and the picture in the middle look allot like an advertisements picture but overall good job ^^

You know guys, all these suggestions really help me. I can actually do something that people will like.

I'm thinking that I will keep my own version
Create an improved one of the default one (some of the boxes are different color and do no look that good)
Also make another one, with pretty dard metal, and possibly new screenshots inside.

So I will possibly have 3 or more different versions.

I am starting to run into a problem...
Dark metal is done, but now I have to get the new screenshots. Now, I can do that, but then fitting them into the thing is a struggle....I don't know how KK got those default ones in so perfect without any trace of resizing it.... :hmmm:
