Roach, Persians introduced scythed chariots to Greeks.
I would guess the psychological value, same with elephants (those had a better record though)

I think it would be really great if there was a talented artist among the comunity able to create a set of historcaly acurate portraits for Iranians and Easterns of RoP timeframe..
just a little bit off topic dreaming..
Yes, exactly. Also giving the generals helmets and tiaras of the style that achamednid and neo-babylonian generals used. You mean like removing the maille aventails of their helmets?
I got a brilliant idea, Can you make that you can rebelion against a nation or province with your own nation (you can choose name) own made flag or symbol and start your own empire. Like choosing a province where to start.
It would be great and fun.
I would recommend a bigger map like the other guy above me said and have western europe and scandinavia in-game
Are going to continue developing the Greek political system traits that you were experimenting with in 2.2? They looked interesting, plus I want to create a unified but bloated, giant bureaucratic Greece. Plus will there be traits for other government types as well?
-My ultimate Total War gaming dream is that eventually TW mods will cover every important era from 1800 B.C. to 1870 A.D.
Just downloaded it great game..
here is some ideas
Have some Historical Battles
-Halys River (End of Lydia)
-Battle of Pelusium
Could we also have events triggering an jewish return to Palestine (as happened in real life)
Anyways great job hope you release another version..
Perhaps have something about the rise of Buddha in India?
I think this campaign should actually expand east, obviously Manghndala was not very expansionist should let us add some more Indian factions to represent Aryan Cities
Also I would also like to report a problem with the custom battles
- Usually 6-15 seconds into the battle the game crashes
And are some of the factions unplayable?
