I dont see why not? It may interfere with the scripts, so we'll still have to see, but no reason not to use it otherwise.

Hotseat works good enough with Broken Crescent, and that mod uses some advanced scripting I think. Hopefully it'll work with PItalica too.
Yeah I think it'll be fine to enable hotseat. I don't think it works against any of the game's unit or faction balances... (does it?).
Nah, unless there are any AI armie spawns it should be fine for hotseat. If there are spawned armies for the AI (other humans in hotseat games) they can be removed if the console is enabled, or disbanded by honest players.
