Crowns

I was wondering if anyone knew which provinces you need to control to get the crown for HRE? I already got the English crown in my England campaign but I have been unable to get the HRE crown so far. Is there a place I can look to see what provinces you need for the crowns of each faction? Thanks.

If you want to find any more ancillary triggers just go into the export_descr_ancillaries file and search (CTRL + F) "ANCILLARY TRIGGERS START HERE" (without the " ") and that should take you to where the triggers start in the document

Is it just me, or is there a typo in the crown_spain2 (aragon) triggers? It says Badajoz should be held by Spain, not Aragon.

Am I correct in assuming that if I remove the "and FactionType ____" parameter, any nation that conquers those territories would also gain the crown?

Yes, but it would muck up your game as you are only allowed 8 ancillaries and its easy enough to hit this limit already. If you wanted to do this, then the better way is to create a King of Hungary and Germany crown and have it scripted so that the ancillaries are swapped. More work though.

Thanks Quark. But meh, I'm fine with the 8 ancillaries limit - I find that I would rarely hit it anyways without the titles. And plus, all the crowns would just look cool. =]

I just wonder the faction leader has to be at the current capital , his faction's origin capital or the conquered faction's former capital to receive the crown ?

Heh I just got the crown from expanding as HRE, just took a pile of rebel territories and got the crown. Win.
