Default Finishing a Rivalry - The Deadian-Col os Taelaer War

The Deadians have always been disturbed by the harshness of the Taelaerians. They treated the undead, and anyone who came into contact with the undead, like vermin. But no more. This rivalry between two nations was going to end. Two undead generals were going to teach the Taelaerians a lesson in manners, the hard way.

The following navy is split up into three groups. (I'll do this later)
170 Battleships, 160 Light Warships, 75 Heavy Warships, 140 Medium Warships, and 50 Heavy Transports.

    Following the purple route:
    The Deadian Third Army
    10,000 Undead Light Spearmen
    7,500 Deadian Frontier Regulars
    5,000 Human Horse Archer militia
    200 Deadian Claymore Guard
    1,000 Undead Light Swordsmen
    50 Stone Throwers
    5 Covered Rams

    Following the orange route:
Part of the Second Deadian Army
    8,000 Undead Light Swordsmen
    4,000 Undead Clansmen Swordsmen
    5,000 Deadian Regulars
    250 Deadian Claymore Guard
    4,000 Undead Archers
    2,000 Undead Light Cavalry
    3,000 Human Clansmen Axemen
    2,500 Deadian Heavy Axemen
    3,000 Undead Light Spearmen
    50 Stone Throwers
    5 Covered Rams

    Following the cyan route:
Part of the Second Deadian Army
    2,000 Undead Light Swordsmen
    2,000 Human Clansmen Axemen
    2,000 Undead Light Spearmen
    1,000 Undead Archers
    1,000 Undead Clansmen Swordsmen

EDIT: I forgot the navy and the seige weapons. Sorry.

Wouldn't you have to mobilize an army that big first, tipping him off to it long before it was put together and allowing him to make a defensive force of any size he wants? That's why I wasn't able to simply ninja Rebel. After all, it DOES seem odd to just happen to have 60,000 some troops in a far-away milecastle (not even a real fort, more of a barracks for a few dozen, maybe a hundred sentries) of no real importance.

I am not ninjaing, I have had one of three armies on the island, and I have been sailing a second one there for a couple of days. My men are now leaving the island right now; they are not at his cities yet. And he has no men on that island, so how would he know I was gathering my army and setting it up? He has a very small navy, and he has plenty of time to prepare if he wants (like a couple of days before my first fleet lands). And if he thought it was odd, he would've done something about it, wouldn't he?

PS: The milecastle I'm going to build on to....it is where the next new city will be.

Yes, but he had no idea how many troops you had there as you never specified. Myself, I assume you had around 10,000 or something, not 60,000. He should have plenty of time to prepare and get an army together (it would've taken you a month/four weeks to get all those troops there). That is, if you're okay with me modding. Otherwise, you can get someone else who will gladly agree.

Bert, your doing it again e.e...

However, no, I don't think it'd tip him off at all. I doubt Kiljan would have anyone knowing he was massing his troops, especially where Confed's position is.

He was massing troops on an island a week away from Kiljan. 60,000 of them. Over a period of a month. Kiljan would have to not only have no people living around the coast and absolutely no contact with anyone from that island, ever, but also be blind, deaf, and severely mentally disabled not to know.

Bert, he had that army there when he was taking the clan city there.

Brand is right, your doing it all over again.
Except for most of it, yeah, he did. And no, I'm not. This isn't nitpicking... This is the difference between a guy losing 3 of his cities by being ninja'd in a retarded way and a fair war.

If you go on my thread I have a list of what my armies are doing. So if anyone had looked at it the past three days, it would have said Second Army on former Lodbrok island, Third army sailing and landing on Lodbrok island. And my navy was sailing from the Gregbrodian island, not my main islands.

Bert, his navy is 90 scouting ships, 90 light warships, and 100 heavy transports. Do you think that small navy is going to be scouting not only far away from his ports, but going on land to see where my army is?

I'm fine with you asking the questions. Now that your not asking them rudely, ask away!

EDIT: No more need for anyone to post here arguing. Bert and I are talking about it via pm.

EDIT EDIT: Hey how long will it take for my men to get there again?

OOC: It wasn't on your side of the island. Sorry.

Crap there goes my auto win! I'm kidding. I've announced the attack so you can prepare, but I don't know how much you can do since my fleet is pretty close.

Well I meant the side of the island formerly part of the Eoten clan Lodbrok. Sorry about that. It's the big island where my forces are coming out of. Since your fleet is so small I wouldn't think they would be patrolling that far away from your country.

The 'far away water' is a week away...

OOC: His navy is small. Why would he have the ships that far away? Besdies, I announced the attack, so it's almost like they found me. He has time to prepare, but if he doesn't do anything within a certain amount of time, he should auto lose. Unless he's got something going on real life. But would he be able to create thousands of units while my ships travel there?

PS: How much longer will it take to get to the mainland for each group?

Are you going to do anything or what? If you're setting up your army to fight Magic Man (which you will have to do since 2/3s of your total army are near him), that's fine. But it will take you guys a long time to get to the cities I'm attacking, and I've got a pretty good head start.

Can anyone tell me how much longer until my ships land?

Uh by the thing I said I meant that my ships are deployed to watch the deadians.

Oh and now found a use for my 1.5 million.

If you built a navy it doesn't matter. My ships should've landed by now. And besides, you can't just not post just so you can stall me to build a navy. That's bull crap.
