    Finally it's here - one of the most well planned historic mods,
    with a lot of new beautiful medieval weapons and armour.
    Emphasis is on foot combat with poor and expensive horses.
    Good gear (weapons and armour) is extremely expensive.

    (This should fix any issues with the patch for 1.1)

    I'm an idiot and forgot to check the title of this thread, I want to download this, but... I'd rather wait with dloading any mods untill they are ported to 0.951

    I wouldn't worry about it as .951 is pretty buggy from what I hear and there will probably be another version coming down the pipe yet.

    This is by far the most atmospheric mod that Ive ever played on M&B!

    The artwork, the conversations ("..good can come from between a slut's legs..." ), the map, and Lundene!

    Tremendous work!

    A patch has been released. It's now version 1.1:

    (it's just 0.5 mb)

    Features:
    • A new, much smaller map for vastly improved gameplay.
    • Hill fort scene for Dinas Emrys has been fixed.
    • Bows and Arrows removed from Arena Combat, replaced by Spears and Seaxes.
    • Caravan Loot fixed.
    • Item stat changes to Spears.


    Especially the smaller map should please the many people who complained

    woah..sweet...i cant wait to try this...i love the historical mods for M&B they are soo immersive...I have been soo into the feudal Japanese mod for the past month. This should be a good change of setting.

    Good thing is, It has the little thing called real-combat system. If you cut a weak-armored someone with a knife, the knife cuts hard. One or two hits are enough. If you drive your spear to a linnen-tunic wearing farmer, The farmer dies. (I kill most of them with 1 hit, Beginners spear, 4 Powerstrike)

    The main problem right now is a freaking item bug which removes your inventory's items from time to time. All your items. Not fun if you are a merchants. Not fun at all.

    Yup, the same bug for me. It kills the gameplay when you loose everything you earn.

    Yes, it's horrible. I can't really play it now without using cheat.
    I suggest not to install the patch for 1.1. 1.0 is more 'stable'.

    MarkusII (the mod maker) knows about the problem and is working on a solution.

    He has uploaded a 'complete' 1.1 version of the whole mod (not just a patch).

    Several users have reported that this fixes the bugs, and I haven't encountered any yet either (just downloaded again).

    Apparently there was an issue with the patching process itself.


    Anyway, the smaller map is great, now we dont have to wander around for ages before finding someone to fight

    Markus is working on a port to 0.960. (Thanks Markus!) and has made some spiffy new armours and more.

    eh I'd just say hold off man and wait for 1.0. The last thing I'm going to play is anything less than 1.0 when it releases.
