    Default Smaller Campaigns

I was just curious if there was any interest in smaller campaigns. Possibly with larger maps concentrating on more specific areas. They would need to be in the same time frame or slightly earlier than the PKH main campaign.

I was thinking of either the standard British Isles campaign, the Welsh wars (1277 and 1282), the Scottish 1st war of Independence/civil war or the Scottish invasion of Ireland.

Apparently he didn't. I like the idea. I think that a campaign centred on the Scottish invasion of Ireland or on Robert the Bruce's recovery after Methven would work very well.

Zenith Darksea - Those were my thoughts. I had already done a larger map so the Scottish one would be relatively straight forward to add on. I just need to sort out the coastline (I hadn't done anything to sort that bit out).

For Ireland I need to sort the coastline and add in more of the rivers.

If theres others interested I may well add those in.

Must admit the one I was thinking of doing first was the Welsh wars though.

sounds good, I would just say do whichever one you have the most done for first, sorta wet the appetites per se, then other small campaigns till your ready to tie them together in a grand campaign

Got to admit if I do the smaller campaigns it's most likely Wales or Scotland (with Wales in the lead easily ).

I really wish I knew how to create new castles for the battle map. A

    Did someone say Welsh Wars!?

    Yes Please!

Also, i noted that your mod starts shortly after the Death of Simon de Montfort. Would a small campaign central to the Second Baron's War be ok?

There is of course the North Munster wars between the De Clares, De Burghs, the Ui Bhriain their vassals and a rival Ui Bhriain faction with their vassals and supporters.

Riadach - Not sure about an Irish campaign. I don't have enough info to hand and I must admit for me any larger map is less complete than what I've already done for Wales and England (I'm talking about a larger map than my standard campaign map).

    @General Sareth
Wrong time period. Smaller campaigns likely to come out later due to timing but probably I will go for a Welsh one.

Welsh? But you need half a pint of phlegm in your throat just to pronounce the place names!

Seriously though, I do actually agree that a Welsh campaign would be very interesting, though I'd still go more for the Scottish invasion of Ireland, personally.

That coming from a scotsman but seriously, I just read this and the thought of a half-pint glass of phlegm made me put my lunch away. Not that hungry now.

Im thinking of a large map of the Norwegian peninsuela and Scotland/England. The invasion of England by the Norwegians is a part of the history. I think it would be very cool!
