A small lil enquiry

I have seen from RTW mods on LOTR with beasts such as say trolls, mumakils ad stuff like that. So just kinda curious to know if models on such monstrocities will be created.

You are assuming that we will be using heroes.........Heroes just make things more complicated and don't really add much to the game. I like making my own history.

yes make your own history with hero's a hero's ability is to make
the game more balanced as such it's fun to see elves get blown away by the dark lord

thats what I was trying to avoid, I don't mind certain heroes, but the main movie characters.......kinda moving away from the point of the TW series (to make your own history). We mind as well call it Lord of the Rings the Movies Trilogy: Exactly Word for Word Total War.......

It was about whether heroes should be included. Anyways, me and a few others personally prefer heroes...but even if they won't be in due to certain goals the team have or gameplay issues....i guess we'll respect the decision too.

God I hope you choose not to add heros, I look forward to playing total war on a Tolkien board but truely the movies are not the be all and end all of Tolkien world.

I would have prefered to see the mod made in the second age when things were a bit more interesting, you would have had a more interesting selection of factions then aswell (not all either good or bad). However since your making the mod so be it is your choice to make third age, just please don't make it the 'movies age'.

I don't want to see Gimli leading anyone, he is not a Dwalf lord he is just a representative of one of the free peoples. Same goes for Legolas sure he was son of the lord of the woodland realm but an Elven prince does not have the same meaning as it would for mortals. Also Frodo is not a leader, think back to who lead the hobbits against Surumon (frodo it was not). If you insist on having heros lets choose real leaders, those that took part in battles not those who helped carry a ring.

This mod will be great if it can use the Tolkien world without having to evolve around the Lord of the Rings story arc.

I agree with that, and I definatly don't want to see any hobbits or gulum in the game.
