    Default Lex Res Publicae

After reading the Constitution I noticed all the amendments so far are technically laws. Therefore I give you:
    Lex Res Publicae

    The Law of the Republic

The following is a list of the LAWS passed by the Senate of Rome since the ratification of its Constitution.

    I.Lex Imperio
Imperium can be given to either Senior Consul or an active Proconsul and stands for a period of one week. Imperium grands the following possibilities to the wielder:
    A. The power to utilize all resources (moving armies, recruiting men, hiring mercenaries and retraining battle worn battalions) to achieve a goal set by the Senate.
    B. The power to conduct any operation given to the wielder as he pleases without having to consult the Senate on matters of war.
    C. The power to make any strategic decision on the provinces he is given Imperium (exterminate\enslave enemy populace, raze enemy cities, abandon cities, retreat from enemy territory).
II. Concerning appointments by the Junior Consul
At any given time the Republic cannot fill a quorum on the Governmental offices, except the Office of Consul, the elected Junior Consul shall appoint a Senator who didn't participate in the last elections or any Senator that participated and lost, for any "empty" office. The senator being appointed can refuse to take the office or propose a counter-proposal of this office with any other post, without a Magistrate at that time.

III. Adding the office of Quaestor.
Heavy workload - duration of one year.
He may use the save game if the pronconsuls are not available.
    Appointed by the proconsuls only.
    Can be re-elected consecutively.
One quaestor for three proconsuls (Depending on area: Africa, Sicily and Gaul for example as they are all attached by the mediterranean. Asia would need it own Quaestor
He would act as the intermediary between the senate.
They will send the proconsuls all motions passed and discussed in the senate (ie:senate dispatches / similar to Praetor who remains in Rome)
This will keep the proconsul informed of what is happening in the senate.
They will assist the proconsul in his duties (ie:if a proconsul elect is absent they may act on his behalf for the proconsulate.)
Their imperium is equal to the proconsul should the proconsul be absent.
His office is roaming which means he may reside in any of the proconsulate areas or Rome.

IV: Concerning the duties of the Senior Consul
    I. Save Game.
    A. The senior consul will post a save game with each report given where changes have been made. (Best example after a battle)
II. Only enforced upon the request of a senator.

    V. Definition of the Propraetor
Propraetor will be assigned a province or packs of provinces to govern. They ought to keep their lands free of invaders and from time to time, if they are given authorization by the senate, they can wage expanding wars on their neighbors. They have a term of 4 years, and are equitable to Pro-Consuls in power.

-Must provide pictures, army reports etc when and if they make an alternation to the campaign.

-They get to play out the campaign during elections time, thus keeping the Republic running. When they are finished their moves, they must post an update save file and an aar story for the senate.

-They must provide the Censor the save as well, so that he can check if there were any misdeeds.

    V. Regarding the term of the Princeps Senatus.

    - In keeping with the high honor associated with the office, every Princeps Senatus shall serve a term whose length shall be his own determination, even until his death.
