What I really like about old languages such as Gaulish, is that the further back you go, you get to see more similarities between them because thay have differentiated themselves less from PIE. Gaulish was P-Celtic right?

Languages that are no longer spoken have one advantage over those who are still part of someone's daily communication, you need to find access to them over a medium, that allows you to think about what you have not understood. You have the chance to consultate dictionaries - something you won't have normally in a situation of active communication. Just as when Nikos said "Dégage, hé, tête de fion!"* and you have no idea what "tête de fion" (head of/from fion) means until you read somewhere that Fion is the name of a place. It's only because we write this stuff over the internet that we so easily get behind.
*Hey! Make way! Hick!

hum, fion isn't a place, well maybe it is, but that's not the meaning, fion can be translated by rear end, or anus it's pretty old and not used so much anymore though. It's more humorous than vulgar.
It actually is used while driving a car and when someone is blocking the way. Especially in Paris where swearing is an integral part of driving.
I do not find it offensive. It is a new expression that I have learnt.
Ok, you are certainly right. My interpretation went into the direction of a social geographic metaphor, like saying "bullhead" in combination with a toponym or a name of a region and the speaker would not be from the designated place. But it looks not likely here.
List of homonyms of "fion":
http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fion_%28homonymie%29
Fion is a toponym but in Mali, and Le Fion is also a river that flows through Saint-Amand-sur-Fion in the dep. of Marne.

And as you have said it serves as an ironic statement towards situations. I imagine it could also be used in a self-ironic sense of "Oh, my gosh, where do I have my head?", or similar.
So, yah that is how languages are fun. You try out to understand something. You find out your explanation does not work fully. You try another one.
Now, I have lost the thread. What's the topic again?

I'm not quite ready to buy from EA right now. As much as it pains me to give up ME3 for now.
Bought the N7 edition from origin, the $125745384937 one. Yes I suck
And that's the one I am tempted to get too, but that launch DLC? Complete bs
Yeah that pissed me off as well. And it's a ing Prothean, we have been wondering about Protheans for ages.

That's what is so horribly stupid about it. We all know that Protheans are damn important to the whole story, so you would think bringing some prothean to life again from cryo or whatever would have major implications on the storyline. So why isn't that just part of the full game? If it is launch DLC, then it's obviously completed content. So they deliberately cut that out from the finished game to sell it as DLC to make that extra money.
The thing is, you just know that somewhere in the DLC will be a way to gain 10000 or so "Galactic Readiness".
lol, yup. Still gonna get it though.
About that Galaxy at War thing. I know that if you win you get readiness etc. What if you lose? Will you be able to try again or will it be a 'whoops the reapers are stronger now' sort of thing?
Well...I wouldn't know
Well the game auto detects if you are polish or not and automatically makes the Reapers win if you are
I will construct a Slav reaper and reap the hell out of you all.
I will create a baguette Reaper that will cheese the hell out of you
I wonder if we will see a reaped Paris. Won't we see London and New York?
