Of these facts there cannot be any shadow of doubt: for instance, that civil society was renovated in every part by Christian institutions; that in the strength of that renewal the human race was lifted up to better things-nay, that it was brought back from death to life, and to so excellent a life that nothing more perfect had been known before, or will come to be known in the ages that have yet to be. - Pope Leo XIII

So I've been having an idea recently. That idea is to start up a Rome II participatory AAR, where in game decisions are made by thread participants. So what does that entail? Based on successful votes, participants can decide
    -what buildings are built
    -tax policies
    -diplomacy
    -funds available to military
-which usable characters are chosen as generals
    -what technology will be researched
    -command where armies go
    -recruitment policy
That's just some of the stuff off the top of my head.
The previous one I attempted did not really work considering that few people actively participated, also since I restored my computer to factory settings I lost all the progress of it. This time I plan on posting it in an area where more people can view it: this sub forum. The faction I will play as will be Pontus. And a feature that is different from the previous one is that I will utilize the Other Families thing in the politics system. Whenever one of the Other Families becomes a usable character, their actions will be dictated by one of the thread participants. That participant, say Lord Inquisitor Derpy Hooves, can make any decision he wants for that character. If he gets access to a general, he can do almost whatever he wants with that character. He can attack take enemy regions and even unilaterally declare war. If the participants find the general's behavior lacking, they can vote to replace him. This will make things very interesting.
Here is the previous thread I had made

So what do you guys think, would it be something you would be interested in participating it?

9/10 would participate, provided that the group doesn't exceed about four people.

Anyone would be free to participate. What killed my previous attempt was that there were too few people participating. It doesn't make things very interesting

Before my time in red the thread nourished itself on questionable animal porn. Then I hope Moderation had a crackdown on the ringleaders and now without its food source it's dying.

    Did someone say animal porn?

And by the way, what the hell is "questionable" animal porn? Do you know any other kind of animal porn?

Oh I see, what did you have in mind then? I was thinking something along the lines of an interactive Republic-style AAR where individuals execute the duties of a particular office for a given length of time in the game before switching roles
