Me too. However I only bought retail for TW since they're the only games that I will buy on release date. As for the rest I only bought on Steam 75% sales. Never bought a game which is above $10 though my traget is always those below $5.

I know I'm cheap but I have a few AAA games like Witcher 1 & 2, Skyrim etc on those prices which I haven't even played until now.

The last I remember I don't really like EE2. Maybe I should try to play again. I only but from GOG if it's on $4.99. Thinking of getting JA2 but the price is always $9.99

Who have Planescape Torment ? Is it working with Windows 7 ? I never completed the game. Thinking of getting that maybe while waiting for Rome II.

Get it from GoodOldGames. It'll work with Windows 7 if you get it from them, I haven't tried since I got 7 but it worked fine on Vista.

Teach me your ways! I'm so bad at finding deals on games. I usually just wait three years until something is so out of date they're practically giving it away for free. I keep an eye on steam deals but so far none of the games I've seen have looked very good.

Well I just purchased Witcher 2 last Christmas sales for 9.99 IIRC... 2 or 3 years doesn't matter.

Steam has weekly deals, daily deals, Spring sales, back-to-school sales, summer sales, Christmas sales, and Halloween sales. I've probably forgotten one or two.

    Phew.

God, I bought CK2, the whole package, at the last summer sale, for a miniscule price. I hadn't enjoyed a game so much in a long time. To think of the hours of fun for so little a price.

I bought Arkham city for a fiver from Steam . Brilliant deal although the game is overrated in my opinion. I'm so behind the times when it comes to PC gaming however that I'm just playing Fallout 3 and Mass Effect one.

Played the demo of that on the PSN . Is that the one that plays like a story book ?

Do any of our older members remember "Fighting Fantasy " or " Choose your own adventure " books ?

Yeah. I bough Red Orchestra 2 during some midweek sale madness or something it's called a couple of weeks ago for $5. Haven't even finished the turorial yet.

Now.. that is a game which I still don't know how to play.. even until today. Clocked nearly an hour on that game though I don't even know what I'm doing. I guess I can't play games of which I need to read a lot.

You should probably first do the tutorials.

I did... but still. Luckily I didn't but all the DLC. Anyway I always hate tutorials. Usually if a game cannot interest me in the first 10 minutes then it's no more for me. Even Skyrim is boring now and I still haven't got the latest DLC. Maybe when it goes below $5 then only I'll get it.

Only Total War now is the game that I always buy on full price and that's only the main game. Expansions and DLC usually I waited until discounts.

Too many games to play with too little time...

You really have to give CK2 a chance. It's not a game you'll love after only one hour. Once you get it, it's addicting.
