Yay! Just took my Chinese final exam. Time to rest.

I almost died the other day. I turned on our electric stove and it sparked and went out. Later, when the electrician came to fix it, he said that had I had my hand on the stove, I would probably have been dead now. It's crazy to think how quickly one's life can be gone.

This has got to be a ZEOLLAN trick; yesterday one of the pipes in our gas stove thing cracked and we had to disconnect everything for fear of blowing ourselves up.

No offence to any females, but why are women so illogical sometimes? Well not all of them, I suppose but still... My argumentation was presented in a most eloquent way, I used the appropriate vocabulary, everything was explained to her objectively and although I was emotionally compromised, my words were not charged with emotion. So why do I get such violent reactions from her? Blows my mind everytime I think of it.

Because humans are illogical and we are human. ;P

Humans are inherently rational beings, and so is the universe, which is the spiritual entity we can come to know. Women are rational beings as well, which is exactly why they resort to what men might consider "irrationality," because they know it works - it gets them what they want. The more we men think of their rationality as "irrationality," the more they fool us.

Even so, these things aren't about who was more eloquent or 'won'; it's about being able to resolve conflict without damaging the relationship in a way that is equitable to all parties.
