Game crashing at faction select screen?

Whenever I try and select the Golden Horde (click on their shield on the faction select screen), the game crashes to desktop. What's up with that?

This is a known problem for the game. Have you tried ,multiple times to choose the Golden horde? If you were in other options before choosing the faction, it can cause problems. The game has limitations, which SS cannot fix.

In other words, choose which era campaign, choose golden horde, and start asap. Good luck.

Its like all mods with lots of factions, if you are looking around for which faction to play wait a couple a sec before clicking on the next faction. Also try not to switch from Early Era to Late Era.

There is a menu bug, I didn't know that...

Yust kidding, yust select the nation you wanna play with and don't mess around in the menus...

Yea, clicking around too much in any menu will CTD.

If you want to start a late era campaign, figure out what you want to do before hand and go right to it when you first start the game.
