As you well know I am here with Spurius.
What a month it has been.
6000 greeks outside our camps.
Lucky for us our supplys are not cut off.
They are as useless as the gauls when laying siege.
So two days before the kalends of February I sallied out to meet the enemy.

They only outnumbered me by around 2000.
Nothing I could not handle.
First on my list was the general.

Not a problem nevermind my men were all still in the fort and I could smell the breath of every greek there.
His men did not bother to come after me.
Even though their general died and I chased down some of those that decided it was not worth dying for.

They did not make a dent in my legion.

Yes, I agree. The only thing they need is a secure base with which to launch an attack on. They have the skills, the courage and the brains to do it. Now they just need to resources and the position.

at this rate we would sestroy about 3-4 greek armyes for each one of ours!
but in a prolonged war long away from theyer bases the legionaries of rome won't be abel to keep this up...

Correct. But that base will need to be somewhere easy to defend and must be able to allow our legions easy access to retraining, food supplies, and reinforcements. However, as to the area we choose, that is open to debate.

The plan is to use roman swiftness and stay ahead of the greek armies choosing each battlefield individually.
With two legions headed by the consuls they can punch through any greek line.
