you say that the elves are basically blonde, i am afraid you are wrong, only one race of the Elves had such colour (the Vanyar), read the Silmarillion (Tolkien says it-not I), the Noldor are described with white skin but black hair, the wood elves (Sindar) have not blonde hair too, the movie has not very accuracy in this

and it's "Noldorin" not "Noldarin"

Wow, for christ's sake people! We get it everyone is trying to say that they know the most, but who cares. The mod looks fabulous so far, and, just like in M2TW, the units in formations, have different collurs of hair. It's cool!!

Well, I think it's fairly safe to say that a certain amount of trade and interaction was existant between the Noldor and Silvan realms, so it's feasable that the Silvan elves did adopt Noldorin weapons and armour which were simply better than their own. Remember, Galadriel was a High Elf who ruled over a Silvan country, after all.
