Elrond is the one you think of The High Elves during the battle were Gil-Galad
who was the last high king on middle-earth,Cirdan who was the ship lord in the grey havens, Elrond was not a high elf he is infact a half-elf or Elrond the Half-Elven,
One by one they fell to the power of the Ring

As stated, permission have to be asked if you want to use it in a mod. No such thing has happened ... the very least you could have done was mention my name or something... not claim to have made it yourself. So unless due full credit is given, i will ask to have the model with both it's textures files removed from the mod.

    Nice elves though...
Sorry about that, It's my fault, I saw it posted on the Russian Forums and I thought he said it was his unit, it was just a misunderstanding

Anyway, I presume you're basing all the models off the imagery found in the PJ films? It certainly seems so... There was only ever one Elf whom used a curved blade, his name eludes me for now.
In one of the first scenes of the movie, the scene of the battle on the plains where Sauron kills the king Elendil and shatters the blade. There is present a whole line of elven soldiers armored in the fashion of the Noldor Swordsman and they wield the curved blade.

I do have a few suggestions though.

    1) To me the heads and helmets of the Heavy Noldor Swordsmen (and Elven spearmen and the Noldor Archers) look quite small compared to the body. They also seem to have a long neck. I'd suggest tweaking the body a bit more to 'realistic' human proportions.

    2) The gold colored Elven shield has very little yellow compared to the Elven armour.

These are just small things easy to overcome. Still damn good looking!
    I noticed this too

Also Is there a chance there will be a unit for the elves that is like a group of ambush specialist? Thanks!

One would assume that the elves (especially the elves or Mirkwood or Lorien) had troops that were similar to the Rangers of the North or the Rangers of Ithilien... lightly armored, but highly mobile, able to move covertly, and extremely skilled with both bow and sword. Dangerous when ambushing or even fighting straight up on the battlefield, absolutely lethal in the forest.

That is indeed so and to great visual effect. However PJ didn't get everything right in the films...

Btw, are you gonna make Galadriel or Thranduil the leader of silvan elves? I suppose and hope it's going to be Galadriel..

Looks much better The reproportioned heads up the quality a lot.

Some parts look blocky - feet especially look pointy, and the chainmail/skirt could use a teensy rounding around the sides.

Are you using the default MII animations for the units? Obviously it would be pretty impossible to tell from pictures alone but some of the running shots look a bit awkward, but then again I guess freeze-framing a normal MII charge would look odd as well.

You can see the bumpmaps a lot better in the sunny screenshots, but I'd still make them a little more apparent on the non-chainmail sections of the model (the mail looks pretty great though!). A lot of the default MII units, for example, use pretty heavy bump mapping to make the textures look less 'flat' - the Musketeers ingame are a pretty good example of this...

I think these units will look even better with high settings in the engine (unit detail, shadows, etc set to max) as well.

I thought the gondor army have a standardise army for most of their troops?

Even if every person looks different, they will still wear the same armor. It's like expecting to see a roman cohort wearing different armor.

Gondor is a civilized nation so to speak. While their levies and axuilia troops may not have the same armor with everyone else, the main infrantry unit, the professional army should have the same armor.

While Rohan will have a different armor and etc.

    It`s Elven.
Helmets are certainly similar on Gondor - but who has told that at elvens there could not be such helmets?

The armour for those units does look very Gondorian, but why not? The Gondorian culture has had very close ties with the elves in the past, why can't they have modeled their armour after some Elven armour???
Those look great, however, they look a lot like I've always thought that some 1st/2nd age elves would look like. IE: I've always thought that the army of Gondolin would have armour like that.
IMO, it looks great. But I do love the Noldarin/Last Alliance style armour. Which elven team will be using the newer style? The Silvans, or is this for the High elves?
