and a regiment or 8 of good elven archers can crack an orc army in manner of seconds
with their arrow volleys

They've announced that elves will get some love? That's good, because they desperately need it. The Heavy Silvan units and the Eldar units all look incredible, but the elvish gameplay is seriously lacking and their incredibly small rosters means there's nothing to look forward to...

sorry about that, Teleri actually can have black hair, my mistake. But my point remains... I think that the elves actually need a little bit more of attention, especially concerning their generals. Also, can anyone answer me why does Elrond has a bodyguard of spearman in 1.4?

You can't recruit them during the campaign game. They're only for custom battles and bodyguard units.

i think the gondorian helmets of the warriors of mithlond and of the elven nobles should be replaced or ajusted, i mean they are elves not gondorians. they did fought along side eachother in the second age so it isn't that weird that they're armor looks a little like gondorian armor but i do think the coller or something like that should be changed. even the details look the same.

the warriors of mithlond and elf nobles have two types of helmets, the majority being gondorian booooo
but a few having more ornate versions of the light elvin infantry helms which on them look kickass.
in order to make the mithlond warriors awesome. one would only need to find a way to make the unit spawn with only the latter mentioned hats.
and pimp hats.

Loving this mod and everything, and the Elves are just awesome. But what's the best way to kill trolls? They don't get any AP units in campaign (except ballista I guess) and it's becoming a pain.

Lots and lots of archers, then maybe some more archers.

I'll do it, eventually... Right now I really want to split them up but I'll probably wait a bit for the upcoming movies' designs which will be superior to anything I could come up with.

I'll update the look of the existing Silvan units, but new units will have to wait. I can't pinpoint a date but it will definitely be before the release of the first Hobbit movie
