Yes, that blue patch in half of Hungary is France. And yes, the Steppes are Hungarian. Pamplona & Bordeux were also Irish, except they didn't have any family members there, so they simply died. Also, the Templars are doing surprisingly well considering this is about 40-45 turns in. Genoa died about 25 turns in. I've also killed the Scots & the Irish.

I wish ! could make an empire like that, I have the skill but not the attention span to do all of the battles and the autoresolve, even on SS6.1, is unrealistic and I never win unless I largely outpower them 3:1. Even 4:3 loses way too often.

I believe you're looking for the toggle_fow cheat.

The Holy Roman Empire, after attempting to end the Catholic squabbling by conquest. The Pope(s) did not agree with the strategy of peace by the sword, but the Empire persevered and almost crumbled many times. It is now more than secure after smashing the Castille-Leon Kingdom, and the last remaining (literally) Spanish Pope sits in power.

The HRE armies gather in Sicily awaiting the arrival of the Empires first legion commanded by the Emperor himself which is heading down the boot of Italy to invade the Moorish homeland. To the East, the brave HRE generals hold off the Byzantine onslaught and protect the Hungarian allies until Legions can be freed up from the African campaign to drive them out of Eastern Europe.

In Northeastern Europe the Lithuanian horde bombards the Tuetonic order of the HRE as it struggles to hold them off and aid the HRE Polish allies against the Pagan mobs.

Peace reigns at last however in mainland Western Europe. The Pope is actually pleased now that the bloodshed is over and a long reign of armstice is in sight among the European nobility.

Depends from person to person, if you really wanna use it then go for it. But if you prefer the hard way and being strapped for cash for many turns then don't touch it.

I never use the money cheat on SS6.1 because the economy is good and there are nearly no severe economic crisises or early rebellions, those who have played The Sicillian Vespers Kingdoms will know what I mean. My problem is boredom.

I use it smoetimes if i'm playing with a faction with way too many castles to convert them. Like Sicily, as Bari, Cagliari and sometimes Palermo need converting.
